Hey there! I'm Kayla Jo!

I'm the heart and soul behind Kayla Jo Photography, and I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a wife, mom, and lover of all things photography, capturing love stories and life's sweetest moments throughout East Tennessee.

My journey with photography began back in 2015 when I picked up a camera and fell in love with freezing moments in time. What started as a passion evolved into a business over two years ago, and it’s been a dream come true ever since. Specializing in weddings, engagements, and couples photography, I have the privilege of documenting love in its most genuine forms. I also adore capturing the beauty of families and the tenderness of newborn moments—because every chapter of life deserves to be cherished.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll likely find me chasing after my dino-loving 4-year-old or cuddling with our sweet cat. Life is busy and beautiful, and I truly believe in embracing every messy, magical moment.

My approach to photography is simple: I want you to feel comfortable, valued, and truly seen. Whether it’s the joy of a wedding day, the quiet intimacy of an engagement, or the giggles of a family session, I’m here to capture the real, raw, and remarkable moments that make your story unique.

Common questions!

Do you travel?

Yes! I do travel! I absolutely love to travel. We just need to take enough time to plan our session and make sure everything goes perfectly!

Are there travel fees?

Yes, I do have travel fees! I charge mileage anywhere outside a 50 mile radius of Maryville, TN.

How long will it take to get my photos back?

I give myself up to 12 weeks to complete your photos! That way I can ensure them to be the best they can be, also so I can complete everything in a timely manner!
